How long does this species take to lay their eggs post breeding?
I know that once laid, the eggs hatch as soon as 45 days and as long as 100 day?
Can anyone share their experience?
Thanks

Baroni females retain sperm, so there cannot be a definite period to expect.
If you leave them together in winter, they will mate, and lay in spring.
I guess there should be a minimum period between mating and laying, probably no less than one month. I will go through my records and let you know this week.
You can send me an email if you wish,
I hope this helps, David Fabius
Mine showed signs of being gravid for longer than I expected. Bred in January, eggs laid April and May. Incubation was over 70 days.

I did introductions on my pair from late Nov through Jan, and got eggs in early may, they hatched in 84 days.
