Has anyone tried these yet? How similar are they to the Kane heat matts?

Haven't tried, but my Kane 40 Watt is exactly the same dimensions and exactly the same look down to the rivets and mounting rails. Only difference is the color. I do not think my Kane (at least 8 yrs old) has a high-temp cutoff switch like the ZooMed.
