I rescued a sideneck and am wondering want are edible items. The previous owners were feeding him turkey slices. I feed him silversides, crickets, roaches and nightcrawlers. I was wondering what plant matter is edible as well. What are some things you feed? Also what are some good pellet brands?

I gave mine some, water lilies and water hyacinth, (I think) he destroyed them so fast and it made a huge mess, I have resorted to mostly a pelleted diet and then give other stuff as supplements. he is pretty good about eating off tongs so sometimes I do that with the greens I feed my other herps to keep down the mess.
they are so full of personality, I really enjoy mine, enjoy!!
