I have a male mali and noticed he had crusty stuff around his nostrils. What is this and is it something to worry about? Ronnie

most likely this is what is commonly called 'snalt' its a normal excretion of excess minerals from the uro's body. they will rub it on something in the enclosure to get it off. no need to worry. You can take a picture and post it so we can check it out and make sure this is what it definitely is.
