Hey Johneee * Young Aquaflame

Eve Jan 24, 2011 01:59 PM

PEEK CA...BU...... hehhehehee

Heres young "CABU" he has gotten VERY BLUE and still has that funky whitish pattern on his back , it is strange as if turns completely BLUE when heated but is still outlined, guess he will alwasy have it. His face and neck are all yellowy orangey and his head is going a yellowy/ greenish like his father Shikoba. If he matures like daddy he should go orangey and yellow/greenish on head.

He looks tierd here, I think I will brumate him for a month.

He is now 9 months old.

OK...I'll take him. That dude is unique! Looks as if he getting ready to shed and the initial skin is starting to lift from his back. Thanks for posting. I can't wait to see him after a month brumation when he starts firing up.

Yeah, he is a cool youngster. It was weird when he hatched he was so very white down his back, I though what the HECK, never saw a flame with that, but he is really coloring up nice when heated, I think he may out BLUE or equal his daddy Shikoba.

Kiowa is stilll hanging in there :0) Pretty boy, just never mated. I still have one of the flame sisters too you gave me many years ago. Shanaya.

I kept FOUR aquaflame baby GIRLS this year... my own kids.

Any of the ones you kept coloring up as nice as your males? I'm also curious to see if any of your female CB look at nice (as much yellow) as some of yours. I'm still referring to your nicest female pure aquaflames.

Did you produce any pure yellowheads?

Eve Jan 25, 2011 02:52 PM

Hey Johneee, I did not brumate any of my younger yeller females last year so I did not make any pure yellowheads.

This year I think I will just have "aquaflames and some yellowheads" and maybe a select few others but not many.

I had over 60 kids last year just in collareds, and besides all my other lizards, and pets, and house, and work part time it was a VERY BUSY, expensive, and hectic spring, summer , fall, and even now... with some kids I'm holding for people because of the COLD weather I can not ship. So many are not brumating, and hopfully I will just have a select few as I said /this year.

I also will be having some granite spinys and desert spinys and leopard geckos, so still will be zooming around this year as it is.
