ANGOLAN PYTHONS

koppenhofer Jan 24, 2011 04:31 PM

I recently acquired a pair of 2007 Angolans and had questions pretaining to breeding size & more! How big do Angolans have to be to breed? My female weighs 1670g & the male is 1385g. What temps do you cool at or is it the same as balls?
Any other info would be much appreciated

Thanks

I think they are basically like balls Tim.....they get bigger so it's up to you if you wait till they are actually like 2000 grams for females maybe??? I don't actually know...

Alan Zulich bred them for a few years...he since got out of the buissness for awhile at least....but he may still answer your questions...(Harford Reptile Breeding Center)....

good luck...Angolans are sweet....I want some...someday....if I can find a cage that doesn't have balls planning on using it....HA!..

My female is 5000 g. She's produced eggs once, but became egg bound. She's recovered fine, but I don't think that one much smaller would produce eggs.
