I live in south Florida. How do go about getting a permit to own caimans? I used to live in TN and had them there but I didn't have to have a permit. Also, is it legal to have one in GA?

Go to myfwc.com and look at the captive wildlife permit section. All crocodilians are now either class I or class II. All caimans are class II except for the the black caiman, which I doubt you are pursuing anyway.
Basically its a $150 per yr permit provided that you live in an area that is acceptable to FWC, can prove you have 1000 hrs practical experience with the species and have two letters of recommendation from people having personal knowedge of your experience.

Help me find this snake!

Well I have pics of one I used to have with me holding them. But I don't think that's going to work. 1000 hours ? That's about 40 hours a week for a year working at an animal park. That's not going to happen. It would be hard to get the letter too. I really have no connections here in FL. I guess it's impossible for someone to get one nowadays if your not grandfathered in somehow.
