I witnessed some weird behavior today. My dumeril's passed about a month and a half worth of rats last night and then layed in it. I threw him in the bath tub and let him soak a little and washed him up. Nothing out of the normal. i went to pick him up and when i had him in my arms he became SO flighty. He wanted down. He was fast and squirmy like a freakin milk snake. keep in mind he is 5' and fairly heavy. It took everything i had to keep him from taking off. i went through the hall way with him pretty fast as he was going for the walls or floor or anything he could. He wanted DOWN. finally i got him to his cage. I have never seen a boid act like this. He is a bit flighty in the cage which ive heard is typical dumerils behavior but even then it is relatively slow compared to a colubrid. He was acting crazy and it scared me to see a 5' boid act that way LOL. Thoughts?
