My easterns came out today, seemed to be lookin so I put some mice in the cage, one ate five jumpers the other just watched. they'll let you know when they're ready to eat by staring out and watching your every move. females get hungry first, males get hungry a few weeks later.
I Fed my racers several times already... and they are back to their active alert selves lol. My big male ate 2 adult mice the first time and then i offered him 6 and he ate them all. my little female wouldnt eat anything unless it was "bite size" the first several times, now she will eat whatever comes her way
. You said you keep eastern racers, are they eastern yellow belly? or blacks?
