Housing Gila"s in stock tanks..

dougle Feb 07, 2011 11:40 AM

After looking at the prices of the larger rack systems and the prices that it would cost to purchase a rack system for a group of Gila"s and beaded lizards , I have decided the best route to go is to use stock tanks and acrylic cut to fit each tank to house these beautiful lizards! This would save me a huge amount of money on housing them! and I could use that saved money! to purchase more lizards! plus the stock tanks are great looking enclosures and I go better create a season shift to induce breeding... I look forward to starting this new project...I have always wanted these beautiful lizards..

Stock tanks are readily used by us Monitor guys.
Here are a few photos of a few I've made.

Here are a few more "topped" stock tanks.
I bred my V.Jobiensis in this one.
