i was given a redtail about 4 years ago and i do not remember if it is a BCI OR A BCC, is there any way to tell? My other question is can a BCI mate with BCC?

Without getting too technical, BCC are larger boas, have very deep,dark colored redtails, and have fewer, well defined saddles than BCI. The BCC saddles are often peaked. Look at some pics of Surinames, Guyanans, and Peruvians and that can give you what to look for. Yes BCC can be bred to BCI but I don't like that. The BCC should be kept pure by locale in my opinion.
