Cage shots of Pseudoxenodon bambusicola

lexxxx300 Feb 25, 2011 11:14 AM

I know there is very little picture and info on this animal so I figured I would create some.

I have tried to feed her unscented pinkies, goldfish, and frogs. She has refused all but ate an anole. I'm okay with it for right now because at least she is eating. I want to get her eating solid and comfortable in her enviroment and then I'll start trying to scent the pinkies.

Nice, glad to hear she took an anole at least. I just got my new parrot snake to finally take her first two anoles. She finally hunted them down when I left the room, she's pretty shy.
I'm dealing with the same thing with the parrot snake, almost no info so I'm winging it and she seems to be doing fine so far.
Have pics of her one or two posts before this one.

I'm keeping an eye on Crutchfield's site for another one of those False Chinese Cobras for sure.

Good luck with her!

Hate to be a pain but that there is P.macrops, not P.bambusicola.

Either way, nice snake, just ordered some more
