Uses for used bedding?

pbcrenshaw Mar 08, 2011 09:11 PM

Are there any uses for wood chip rodent bedding. Compost? I have been throwing it away but if I could find another use for it I would like to.

Used mouse and rat bedding makes the best compost; it is saturated with urine and full of feces, perfect for decomposition. It breaks down quickly. Turn your pile about once a month, add a little water to promote decomposition.
