I just got my iguana today and i know it has to go through a acclimated period but is it normal he has'nt eaten or drank water? but he seems active

Yes, this is completely normal. I would just leave him alone for a few days and let him get used to his new environment. Keep food in there with him. Make sure his temps are correct and do alot of research if you haven't already.

It helps if you cover the enclosure on 3 sides with a towel or sheet. It will make him feel more secure because he is hidden. Dont give him a hide inside the cage because that will block all that crucial UVB raise that he needs. Also make sure the cage is not in a high traffic area. He will eat as soon as he feels safe enough.
