Unusual Behavior

I have a green iguana who is going on a year now. Most of the time he is active and a healthy eater, but every once and a while he goes through cycles were he appears weak and has no appetite. Not sure what causes this due to the fact that correct temp. and diet are provided. Any insight, or recommendations on good books would be greatly appreciated

This is often times the result of temperatures that are too low. I know you said your "temps" were correct, but what temps are you providing? You really don't give much information to help diagnose the problem.

Your iguana should have a basking spot with surface temps reaching 120F-130F, using a temp gun to calibrate.

What UVB light are you using, how old is it and how far from you iggy is it?

My iguana bible is this book: http://www.iguana.com/

If you provide photos of the setup, the exact temps and a list of the daily food that you feed then it would be easier to help you find the problem.
