Right now I'm feeding green tree frogs. I ordered some 1-2" from Big Apple (3 for $11.99)for my female and she ate them really quick. She ate 5 in one day....yuck. I need to get her on pinkies. I'm really not anticipating it to be too hard because they go into such a feeding frenzy that anything that moves they attack. They tried to eat an anole when it move but it escape. I did try a f/t rat pinkie for the male but he just struck at it. It was too big for his face so I'm going to try a day old live on and see what happens after I scent it and they are in that feeding frezy. I'm pretty confident that they will take it. I video'd one feeding. You can see the female chase down the frog. These things are WILD. As you tell I'm loving my new snakes. I'm a boa man but these are just fun!!

Oh about your question. I leave about 5 or 6 frogs in the cage so that they can eat when ready. Next month I'm going to put them on a regimen. First things first was just to acclimate them. I use no heat on them whatsoever. Now that I have experience I can tell you they are definitely diurnal snakes as well as nocturnal but seem to be more active during the day. When the light comes on they come out of their hide boxes and explore. They are so cool.
