Doug Taylor/www.indigosnakes.com anyone?

deathstalker Mar 14, 2011 03:47 AM

Hello All,

I wanted to know if anyone knows of Doug Taylor (still) frequenting this forum from years back, whom used to have the website: www.indigosnakes.com. He was a breeder of Drymarchon (corais?)* couperi whom taught me much, and whom I almost purchased from before--the last I knew--he lost a breeder or two and was considering getting out of the hobby, or at least out of breeding.

If anyone has his (even old) email address, may You please provide it? Thanks.

On another note, who on here breeds Drymarchon (corais) couperi to sell? ...and anyone still selling for the formerly 8-years-long-held-price of $500 before the species skyrocketed a few hundred dollars the past few years?? (Animals are supposed to drop in price with Time, not go up, and it was remarkable that--the last I spoke with Doug Taylor--D. couperi held their $500 price for 8 years...!)

I have Indigos Forever up**, but the site seems non-functional...? At least the forum isn't, but there are breeder links I suppose I can try visiting...

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Sincerely,
Timothy

*Is it true the taxonomy has been revamped from Drymarchon corais couperi to Drymarchon couperi, without the former binomial? ...the Eastern Indigo and the Texas Indigo being recognized as different species and not subspecies? I caught this on a few Google links the other night...

**Why is the actual link banned???

Thank You very, very much!!

Déjà vu, this looks familiar, but then again, some photos could have been on his old site...still, I think I remember this now.

Thanks again!!

Sincerely,
Timothy
