Just picked this girl up today, I think she is quite lovely. Hoping that I might be able to find a boyfriend for her.
I have been trying to aquire this species for a couple years, have come close to buying a few times, but just wanted the right specimen, she is dog tame, I love this girl.

Hey Jeff, good luck with your pair, post some pics if you get a chance. I am recieving a beautiful adult male with a really nice orange dorsal on tuesday so hopefully they will like each other. How are the corns doing for you? Got rid of all mine last spring, to many other projects.

Glad to hear you found a mate for your female,and an adult on top of that!I'll post pics of my pr. soon.The corns are doin' pretty good but,I have to admit I'm getting bored with them.Lizards are really starting to look more interesting to me! Take care!

Besides the garters I like turtles, but haven't kept many lizards, the blue tongues and the knob tails are interesting creatures that I have long admired and considered. Always liked the crocodilians, but don't think they are really suited for the residential basement, although I did have one in our basement when I was a kid 35yrs ago, back when they sold caimens in all the local pet shops, different times back in those days, nobody thought anything of it, but now a days some people get their underwear in a bunch about keeping garter snakes even, crazy.
