difference for fatty's and leo's???

geckoejon Mar 22, 2011 04:57 AM

hello, thinking about getting a new project and doing a little research.

just wondering from your experience the difference between fatty's and leo's such as temperment, care, hardiness, ect...

also just wondering your opinion as to why leo's are so popular and fatty's not as widespread. because they aren't as colorful maybe? although, some of the new morphs are pretty nice thanks...

Leopard geckos and African fat tailed geckos are both excellent reptiles for first time reptile owner.

Fat tailed geckos are even more dosile than leopards are, and that is not much of a difference at all between the two.

Yes, I think that quite a bit is due to the color choices between the two, and that the African Fat Tailed gecko, doesn't get talked up as much by petstores as the Leopard geckos do.

In my opinion, Leopard geckos are there bread and butter, compaired to Fat tails.
