we went out the other day, here are some of our finds....

a very unhappy black racer, notice the posture, lol, did make for some decent pics, since this was about the slowest you ever see one moving!

Found a couple of these unidentified salamanders under a we log on the back....

How about a little newt...

And finally, I know it sounds goofy, but this is a first of a lifetime for me, had to take him home to show the wife, I was extremely excited. I know most people are like "big deal", but it was a thrill to actually find a rough-green in the wild...

That sally is a Eurycea guttolineata, Three-lined salamander.
