I JUST BOUGHT MY FROG ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND THE THING IS IS THAT AT FIRST I FED HIM FREEZE DRIED WORMS, BUT THEN THE PET SHOP OWNER ON MY LAST VISIT RECOMMENDED ME TO USE LIVE BLACKWORMS SINCE IT HAS MORE NUTRIENTS.

EVER SINCE HE TRIED THEM HE DOES TOUCH THE FREEZE DRIED WORMS BUT THEN SPITS THEM OUT. HE ONLY EATS THE BLACKWORMS.

ALSO I NOTICED THAT HE HAS BEEN GETTING A LITTLE ROUND AROUND THE CHEST AREA AND I WANT TO KNOW IF THAT IS NORMAL OR IS THERE A PROBLEM.

A diet of blackworms is like eating bbq everyday . Good eating but it'll def. show in the gut area. Try earthworm flakes , massivore pellets , ghost shrimps , even cichlid flakes . As with any animal , varied diet is a must. The frog will eventually eat these when they are hungry enough.
