About 30 days. Best sign of imminent deposition is refusing to feed and restlessness even during the day. Mine typically lay a slug or two 2-5 days before the "good" eggs are laid.

True to form my black/white female dropped one slug last Saturday and 4 good eggs so far this morning. She was bred to a lavender/yellow male so I'm excited how this batch will turn out.
He's in w/another lavender/yellow female right now and they've been locked up for a solid day.
