Hey all, i currently have no cresteds but i have had 2 in the past and i feel like getting back into them. My question to the experts is, i want to divide one of the large enclosures in this picture into 6 equal sections for 6 different cages, dimension are 6' long by 18" high by 18" deep (so each cage would be 12x18x18). I will be making the front plexi glass into a screen window as well as each separating wall so there is enough ventilation and my snake room stays about 60% humidity right now and mid 70°'s, eventually i would like to breed some of them, would a 1 male 2 female group be too much for each section? Or should i just do 1 male 1 female, the male will only be in the cage for breeding, so i guess a more appropriate question might be could i keep 2 females in the same cage at the stated size above?

Personally, I would leave the dividing walls solid/opaque. Having a screen or clear walls will allow males to view each other. Males are aggressive towards eachother and though they cannot reach each other with screen between them...knowing the other is there and not far away...could cause them to stress and attack the screen.

The size of each cage should be fine for up to two females...or a male/female pair. Though I am far more comfortable housing 2-3 geckos in a cage that has 24" tall x 18"x18" length/width.
