Glue For Vision Glass Door Plastic Rail

Sarge2004 Apr 07, 2011 08:10 AM

On a few of my older Vision cages the plastic rail strip on the bottom of the glass doors are coming loose. Is there any type of quick drying glue you would recommend that would be safe for the snakes? Thanks, Bill

You mean the clear plastic runner on the glass door, right?

Aquarium-grade Silicon is possibly your best choice, but it does not dry quickly. You don't need alot. Just let it cure for 8-24 hrs and you are good. You may need to put the snake elsewhere for that time, though if the cage is large I doubt the odor will be enough to bother the snake if you left it in there.

Yes Mark, that is the clear plastic runner-that is the word I was trying to think of. Only problem is the two cages that are effected hold my huge black blood and red blood pythons that don't really like being out of their "secure zone" cages for very long. I will try and come up with something to put them in.

Thanks,
Bill
