ergoproxy2012 Apr 18, 2011 01:42 PM

hiya all, i am an avid snake lover and already have 4 of my own, 3 balls and a jungle carpet. i also have an extra 10 gal tank that is empty and have been thinking on getting myself a kingsnake hatchling to put in it.

in looking at the kingsnakes i fell in love with the mexican black they are absolutely beautiful. my question is what is there attitude like? are they easily handled like ball pythons? and how active are they in there tank?

Mexican blacks are awesome, they are like any other kingsnake and threaten when small but make nice calm easy to handle adults. They calm down with very minimal handling. You will be pleased if you decide to get one and they make a very impressive solid black glossy animal.
