Hey ya'll, Well after a couple month absents, moved and just got internet hooked back up, I have an update on my female. She is gaining wait and girth. The question I have is during pregnancy, does the last third of the belly start to get really firm? I am experiencing this with my female, does this sound right for her being prego? My other half is in New York right now with the camera or I would send post some pics of the female.

Glad the move went well. Usually you'll notice more distention and as the babies develop you should be able to palpate noticeable "masses" inside the female. Sometimes this is the only way I "KNOW" a female is gravid as some are sort of hard to tell just by looking. I don't do anything aggressive as far as feeling though, I just let them slide over my hand while I press my fingers lightly upward. Hopefully you'll be posting baby pics soon!

Thanks for the input, I hope so too. What should the time line be if she is gravid? The last time she locked with my male was December 19th, at least that was the last time that I noticed. They are housed in the same enclosure 24/7. I had a possible ovulation on Dec. 10-11. My spouse is on a trip to New York with the camera so can't post any new pics until wed.

Forgot to add in, her weight gains, Jan-5 3087 gms, Feb-4 3341 gms, Mar-2 3548 gms, Mar-21 3617 gms.

Just weighed her again today, 3699gms.
