Female laid first clutch

Here's some pics of the first clutch I've ever had to care for. There's 26 total split 13 in each container. So is that too many are they too close together? Do the eggs look fertile? They feel nice and firm and are nice and oval but I don't know. How soon can I candle them to see if they are viable? Thanks for any help.

They look good! But like you said, you really have to candle them to be sure. Probably within the first week or two you will be able to get a good look and see if they are fertile or not. If you were to candle them now, they would just look yellow inside. Check every couple days if you want just to see how they develop and grow.

Yeah I'll check them every couple of weeks to see their progress.

That's cool. How far along were your eggs at that point?

Thanks. I candled them yesterday and saw veins in every egg. Now it's just a waiting game I guess. I think she's getting ready to lay a second clutch too.
