help !! baby dwarf caiman wont eat

i have a 10 inch baby dwarf caiman. she is in a 75 gallon aquarium. 1/3 land with basking lamp at 94 degrees. and 2/3 water at 79 degrees. pleanty of hiding places and fake plants. she refuses to eat for me. im getting worried. i have had her 3 weeks and she has eaten a total of 1 pinkie and a piece of chicken about the size of my thumb sice i got her. again 3 weeks ago. i have live fish swiming around and crickets. she is not interested in any of them. any advise would be great thanks.

Make sure you not handeling him give him time to relax. Is he in a high traffic area of your house? Leave the food on the land near waters edge over night many times they are shy and won't eat unless it's dark and quiet. My spec just started eating off tongs and is 3 ft long.... Also bump up water temps to like 84....

I will try that. His tank is in the living room. Maybe I should move it. I'll also try setting the temp at 82. Thanks for the help. What did u feed when he was a baby ? How often and how much ?

Crickets, pinkies, chicken livers, crayfish and fish ( goldfish are bad). Fed like every other day. Move to low traffic area babies stress very easily. Just leave him alone drop food in at night it may take awhile till he eats in front of you biggest thing is just leave him alone and quiet lol...
