I got skunked, saw nothing on April 22. But oh so beautiful and well worth the hike nonetheless.

The blue-tailed skink darted so fast I got a blurr. The granite night lizard started walking fast towards the hole, so I snapped the pic as best I could. Even the lizards were scarce. But it was already too warm, so I didn't expect much.
All rocks were replaced meticulously, and any duff pushed back around them.
