Hello Silvia22,How big are they?

Frogs (Hyla spp.) or geckos (especially Hemidactylus spp.) will likely work. I have also had some luck with fish (sold as 'Roses' here in the U.S.). I DON'T put them in a water dish, but toss them near the animal in the evening. They flop around for 10-15 minutes before dying, and hopefully they grab one before then....

Best of luck,
Chris

Hi Sylvia,

Sorry to be replying so late, I've been away from the forum for a while. Did you get your snakes eating? Mine only really like geckos, but I've fooled them into taking chicken hearts and even small chicken wing portions by scenting them with chopped up geckos. They also love day old chicks if they are of a size to take those.

I'm in Fiji with the closely related Candoia bibroni bibroni, and the natural temperature range is 21 - 32 oC. My mature males do stop eating for about 3 months every winter when it drops below about 24oc though.

How large are your snakes?
