Took this picture of an anole today. We are in north Florida. The crest is throwing us off. Don't believe it's a PR crested, though. Is it just an excited green anole?

Were you able to catch it? What color was its dewlap?
Ian
The dewlap was red. We didn't try to capture it but I'm now convinced they were our native anoles. Just had never seen them display those crests before.
Thanks!
Dan
Anolis Porcatus ... they have been in FL for a while now.
Possibly white Lipped Anole.
definately a porcatus.... like the green anole but behavior is exaggerated... i had to keep the all separate, even femlales ... i want one again!
