Brought her home this evening and she is doing amazingly well considering I was on the fence over euthanizing her last night due to her injuries. Lights on 24 hours and a pig blanket is keeping her plenty warm. She's thermo-regulating, but seems to be in noticeable pain when she moves. Once calm and tame, she's behaving a little spooked and shakes her head if I touch her, but considering what she went through, thats understandable. I will offer food in two or three day. If no internal infections occur, I think she will make a full recovery. Not much amazes me, but surviving what she went through does amaze me.

I'll say a prayer for her please keep us in the loop. I really hope she pulls through....great news so far.....these are some of the toughest animals around, just amazing.

She refused greens, dry food, and fruit, but took three king mealworms and is drinking water. Still seems a little disoriented possibly from the anesthesia, but so far so good.
