Anyone still have old mud-ugly normals?

snakemother May 05, 2011 08:22 PM

My first beardie was a mud-ugly guy with the BEST personality and temperment. Looking to find a true old fashioned normal to raise and maybe breed to my original old-guy's grandson. But I can't seem to find them. Anyone out there know anyone that still has them?

Yeah normals may very well be the rarest of the morphs these days !

A lot of local pet stores still deal in mostly normals , as they are the cheapest they get wholesale. Or a lot of online vendors that arent breeders for the same reasons.

You could cotact some of the bigger breeders as well. Like sandfire dragon ranch or Bloodbank Im sure they could get you what you need !

Good luck

Plenty of normal dragons (never considered them ugly myself...always liked the look of normals. Find many of the new 'morphs' rather ugly to be honest). Best place to find them will be local classifieds and yeah, petstores could have them too. Keep in mind that the more yellow/orange dragons (not the super orange/yellows or reds)are often found in the wild and several breeders just bred the best colored ones they could get 20 years ago and kept the brightest offspring etc...till you ended up with the more intense colored ones found today.

May take more hunting (check classifieds here too) as most breeders want to sell their colorful higher priced dragons than the normal plain janes. But keep in mind, you do want a healthy animal.

Are you still looking for a normal? I have a male normal that I got in a group. He is a good breeder and proven. I dont want much for him just trying to move him out to make room. He lost part of his tail due to improper shedding before I got him. If you are send me an email
