Sleeping with the Enemy.

So I was cruising the Burm classifieds today, and came a "Bill Nelson" line of Burmese Python.

WTF?

Isn't Bill Nelson that politician piece of trash trying to use us and the animals we love as a stepping stone for votes? Isn't he glossing over stories of these MONSTERS that are out there trying to kill us and all we know here in the good ole' USA?

So here is the question. First, WHY ARE WE GIVING THIS GUY GOOD PUBLICITY?

In our world, if something has a "name" attached to it, it is because someone did some hard work along the way, and produced something new and unique. The only thing this jackoff has created is debt, fear, and lies about us and the animals we love. So we give him his own line of Burmese Python? Are you kidding me? That would be like calling me an "al-Qaeda Line" of soldier, in "Honor" of the "Honorable Osama Bin Ladin" since he was out to kill me and all my kind.

Get real folks. This should not be used as a publicity stunt, a selling point, or supported in any way shape or form. This guy has been bought and paid for by the Humane Society, who is owned by organizations like PETA. Wake up.

This "bloodline" is tongue and cheek humor, as the animals are described as wild caught Burmese from south Florida!!It is doubtful that Mr. nelson enjoys the association!

I know who you are talking about very well. He seems to like to brag about how he gets snakes that FWC confiscates and proudly sells them as confiscated snakes.
Living here in Fl. I can tell you we got thrown under the bus with the laws here and this clowns attitude doesn't help any. As far as I am concerned he is nothing more than a buttkiss to an agency that sees our hobby as a chance to keep their jobs in a shrinking economy and currently has a reputation for downright hassling keepers.
I have gotten a few animals from him in the past but for the most part his prices are ridiculously high even at the shows. Given the recent attitude I gleen from his adds I am sorry I ever did business with this guy.
He has a nice store and I used to like to stop in there when I went through his town, there is an excellent chinese restaruant next to his store. When I am in his town I will continue to patronize his neighbor but I will never set foot in his store ever again. I have no interest in doing business with someone who profits off the persecution of fellow herpers.
