Proper humidity for incubator

time_lord May 14, 2011 11:56 AM

I just set up my incubator for two eggs that my Russian recently dropped. I've read all the books and the larger sites for Russians. While they mention keeping the incubator humid, they don't mention what percent humidity I should shoot for?

I have not incubated Russian eggs, but for several other species I incubate on dry vermiculite or Hatchrite and keep the ambient humidity between 70-80%. Get a good hair hygrometer for best accuracy.
