Can someone help identify this snake?

Hi!
We caught this snake today and it was about 10" = 1 foot long. It was caught in Sussex County Delaware (Milton) I have a bunch of pictures if you need more. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Hey Larry - thanks for the reply. Is there a way I can email it to someone? I am not sure how to attach a picture because there is no "browse" button for me to upload the photo to.

The easiest way is to save the photo to the photo gallery (by clicking on the "photos" button right up top) and then attach the pic inside your post. I'm in Wilmington, by the way.

That's a nice little harmless Eastern Hognose(Heterodon platirhinos). They have a HUGE range throughout the entire eastern half of the country.

Yep! To the uninitiated, that snake really looks dangerous, but in fact, unless you smell like a toad, it won't bite. In the case of this snake, a picture is better than a thousand words of description.
