"Paradox" transluscent silkback

pdragon1 May 16, 2011 11:07 AM

Paradox is a term used for unexplained patterning/color that contradicts with the normal patterning/color. It's about a 1 in 2,000 to produce one of these guys. Transluscents and hypomelanistics are complete opposites of each other, when combined, an occasional oddity like this pops out. These do not reproduce like a simple recessive, dominant, or codominant.

These paradox dragons can pop out of any cross, as long as trans and hypo are mixed in. I have tried breeding paradox to paradox a few times, with no luck at producing another one.
