So do you set up a tripod and take pics of yourself taking pics of your snakes or do you have someone come over and take pics of you taking pics of your snakes?

I do it both ways. Most of the time, I put one camera on a tripod and use the timer to take pics of me taking pics. In this case, a friend was over taking pics and I decided to make these shots for a video.
