I have been researching the laws for possessing crocodilians in Alabama. From what I have read, it appears that in order to possess alligators you need an alligator farming license. It also appears that you need some sort of permit to possess crocodiles. However, I have not found much information about the possession of caimans.
What is the specific permit required to possess crocodiles?
Is a permit required to possess a caiman?
Also, it would be helpful if you could provide the source for your answer (law, statute, etc.).
