Great shots of the Crotalus! Love the newborn with sized cigarette lighter comparison. I've been trying to use coins for size comparison shots but havent had it work for me yet. I wish I could find the rattlers on a regular basis like that. They're very secretive here on the east coast due to constant persecution and limited habitat space.

I see you haven't lost your touch, Dan.
You could have a serious career in Macro-photography. That crab spider actually rocked.
And the baby shots were, of course, adorable. And I mean ALL the baby shots in that batch. LOL
My field season is just getting started, but there is such a drought and Heatwave here in North/Central Texas that I'm not overly hopeful.
Though I did manage to see and observe a huge Soft-shelled turtle on tuesday. And forgot to charge my camera's battery of course.
