moss swallowing

candygirl_4life May 26, 2011 01:55 PM

Hi from Canada,
Been adopting-rescuing quite a few animals lately because it's moving season here and some people get rid or their pets carelessly, among them are a couple of geckos leo, tangerine, blizzard, chocolate...I was wondering, when I feed them crickets, they swallow a lot of moss when they miss, is it really bad, can they get sick? Thank you and sorry for my spelling mistakes and bad sentences I'm french. tx wink

I keep my colony on black and white newspaper or clean butcher paper.... much easier to keep clean and watch for any sign of illness. Moss prob wont hurt them, rocks or bark or sand might build up. They also need a calcium powder available for them to lick
