I have a western diamondback that did the same thing. I ended up force feeding her a small mouse (most terrifying thing i have ever had to do by the way) but after that she would eat anything i put in the cage. dead or alive.

Put the snake in a 5 gallon aquarium, with a paper towel as a substrate. Put a clamp light at one end of the cage, with a 40 watt bulb. Small water bowel at other end. leave the snake in the cage with the light on for at least 2 days non stop.. If this is a sub adult or bigger put a hopper in with it, leave the room so not to disturb it after about 15 minutes check . If this does not work repeat again in a couple days. LEAVE THE LIGHT ON. AND USE LIVE RODENT. And never leave a mouse in a cage for more than 30 minutes. Let me know how it works out for you. Chris

Don't forcefeed it! Can we get a description of the snake and its recent history?
