A nice juvenile rat snake. Saw an adult also on Tuesday, but it went down a hole before I could get a picture.
Horry County, SC.
This yellow-bellied slider was laying eggs in a hole it had dug in the middle of a dirt road. Luckily, it was in a protected area, so the eggs should be ok as long as the racoons dont get them. I saw a few turtle nests that had already been raided.

A cute little Southern Copperhead found crossing a fairly busy highway. It was safely set free on the side it was crossing to.
