Bringing my snake to the Park for a Bite

lightelf Jun 05, 2011 10:33 PM

Hey, I recently brought my snake to Central Park and he was pretty happy, it suddenly dawned on me that that would be an absolutely bwilliant place to get him some non-rodent food! I'm not gonna do it yet though bc I'm sure city birds are dirty... But some of the birds stay in the park their whole lives... And the squirrels too...

Pretty brilliant aye? Don't get mad bro... :P

That's how local legislation starts! BAD IDEA!

Just another clown on the internet. "Bwilliant"??? Who is he, Elmer Fudd????

LightElf Jun 08, 2011 01:19 AM

It's not a joke, I was going to do it in a low profile sort of way. If you had any imagination you wouldn't react like a tard. And yea I said bwilliant, it's an British thing you know...

It's got nothing to do with imagination...it's just a stupid idea.

Don't expect people to not get mad when you post something ludicrous like this on the internet.

As you can tell, nobody has even taken the time to run you through the many numerous reasons why this is a a bad idea. That is because its not something that should even be debated. If you love your pet, want it to stay healthy, and want to be able to continue keeping it as a pet, (not to even mention the much further reaching consequences that could come of this)don't do irresponsible things like you've just described......

It's an effing brilliant idea. The only and I repeat only factor that makes it not doable is that city birds are dirty while wild birds have parasites. If I did it I'd make sure no one saw. Do you not realize that your pets are an extension of yourself? I want to give my snakes expanded "human" experiences.

Not sure what you mean by city birds vs wild birds, they all live in the city and they are not in a cage so WTF. All of them cary parasites as well as some city grime. Your idea is also completely illegal. And it gives snakes and snake people a bad name. Many people are not even comfortable with snakes in public, let alone snakes feeding on wildlife in public! Despite your Elmer Fudd powers of secrecy, you can't control where the public goes in the park.

And how do you plan on doing this? Are you going to catch the bird and feed it to your snake or do you think your snake is going to catch it. Either way... good luck HAHAHAHA.

This is such a dumb idea I am still not convinced this isn't a joke. If it isn't it just makes me sad.

Not only illegal... for most birds it'd be a felony per animal (Migratory bird treaty act) plus whatever state/local regulations exist for animal abuse, etc etc.
