Hypo Ceylonese python cross hatch!

Hi! Finally today eggs started to hatch. Mom is a ceylonese, father is an hypo burmese. 6 on 18 eggs piped this nighta and the result is 3 hypo and 3 normals, let's wait the rest!. They seems very iridescent and bright coloured compared to normal hypos but let's say last word as soon as they will come out!
I'll keep you posted!

A perfect example of why people regard captive Indian and Ceylonese Pythons in captivity as crossbreeds...

Here's a few photos of a female and a hatchling from a clutch of pure Sri Lanka I produced a few years ago.

He is considerably smaller at about 7 feet. This female is between 10 and 11 feet, the same as my other female. All have reached maximum size at these lengths.
