I'm looking to plan a herping trip to az soon and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for beadeds and gilas?

You won't find any beadeds running wild in AZ unless they are captive escapees. The closest I have heard of is a very Northern population around Hermosillo Mexico.
As for the gilas, you will have a hard time getting people to divulge specific locales. Look for good habitat characteristics and then hit them at the right time of year. May is a prime month. Another personal favorite time of year for me is late summer with the monsoons. My favorite times are monsoon days when the afternoon air is heavy with humidity right before and right after a rain shower. Look for "balmy" air but not scorching hot temps. These guys spend the majority of their time underground and tend to come out with milder temps.
