PALP OR TRIG..?

just got a couple of dwarf caimans... but i´m not shure about the species... what you guys think, palpebrosus or trigonatus...?

I find it easier to tell with a pic of the back scutes...

Pretty dark pic of the back (I meant the actual back, not the head) but looks like a Trig to me.

thanks for the advice... I found this pics that show the differences between palps and trigs... yo can see it in the scales... big scales are for trigs
1 pic trig is upside
2 pic trig is rigth
3 pic trig is upside
4 pic you can see the back scales of my caimans

i think mine are palps... what yo think..?

If yours is the first pic then definitely a palp.

The easiest way is that the palp has the back scutes in order, the trig has them all over the place. In the dark pic, they didn't look aligned...

its amazing to see the diferent ways each caiman is... 2 of them already eat from my hand(tweezers), one even looks for it, and the other one needs to be pushed a little bit.. and the 3th one only eats when its dark and the food is on dry area...

just wanted to share it

Judging from the shape of his head I believe it is a palp for sure. Trigs have more tiangular heads from my experience.
