Eastern Hognose from ANF

Hey! I found this little Eastern Hognose yesterday during a cruise through Apalachicola National Forest. About two feet long.

Cool! That's a good find for the ANF. I've only found one in that area, and from what I've heard they are fairly uncommon to find there.

That's awesome! I've never seen platirhinos in those parts before - and just a few simus individuals. One of my favorite critters.

Thanks. It was a first for me. I didn't know what it was at first especially when I saw the pattern. Then it puffed up! AH, a hognose! All I've seen before is the southerns.
