Glad I saw her when I drove up yesterday! I hurried the dogs inside and waited 'til she finished to let them back out, then covered the eggs with a pot 'til morning. They are in my incubation closet. Four huge beautiful eggs!

Good luck incubating, hope they will all hatch out for you, should be around mid august hatching date huh?

Yeah, I hope so, too. I always find a baby or two on my property in the spring. I'm hoping for 60 days. What I've read says 60-90 days. We'll see. Never hatched a turtle before. I've got some 5-lined skink eggs going, too. Don't know if they'll hatch. I found them under a big old log I moved in preparation for cutting it up.
