Introducing Males

zainramzey Jun 21, 2011 11:17 AM

I have 3 female Kenyans that I am looking to breed after a bit. They are a little less than a year old. I was told that the males mature at 1 year and the females at 2. I was looking to get a couple baby males around August so they all would mature around the same time.

Would it be okay to put the males in the habitat with the females?

Thanks

I would wait tell your femals are around 250-300 Grams and around 3 years.
I know that they can breed with succes around 2 years and 200 grams.
but if you wait, you would probal get bigger youngs and bigger litter.
